There are many reasons why we can develop skin growths of any kind, some of those reasons are; sun exposure/damage, hereditary, friction and ageing.

Suzanne will firstly invite you for a 15min consultation to assess the area(s) you are concerned with. 

Suzanne is yearly certified by MASCED (Melanoma And Skin Cancer Early Detection) and is able to assess moles and refer you to your GP if she has any concerns. 

Skin growths that are deemed safe to remove will be removed by coagulating the area. A small disposable needle will gently burn the growth away. By using this method it allows for the area to be kept sterile and by coagulating the blood flow it will reduce the possibility of it ever coming back. 

Straight after removal a scab will have been created over the area which will aid a clean and safe recovery. 

Thorough aftercare advice will be given and must be followed. 

Within 5-14 days the treated area will be healing and results will be visible.

12 weeks recovery is recommended to see full results.

Milia are small white cysts, commonly found around the eyes, cheek bones and chin. Milia is caused by the skins localised inability to naturally exfoliate and unlike acne, they do not form from a pore and will typically not cause swelling or inflammation.
