Plasma Lift is an aesthetic procedure that uses plasma, an ionised gas, to tighten the skin non-surgically. This is a non-invasive, soft surgery, that does not involve any foreign substances being injected into the skin.

Your experience will start with a thorough consultation, treatment explanation and aftercare advice.

A facial cleanse and tone will be performed prior to the anaesthetic being applied to the skin and left for up to 30 minutes - during which time a hand & arm or scalp massage will be conducted. 

While the treatment device never touches the skin, the plasma flash creates a tiny dot (carbon crust) upon contact. These superficial dots (scabs) are part of the natural healing process and will fall off within 5-7 days post treatment. 

Desired results can be achieved after one treatment, however depending on the skins laxity and individuals response to the treatment, an additional treatment may be required after 6-8 weeks. 

Desired results can last years or permanently.

• Does the procedure hurt?

You may experience a sensation of heat in some areas and post treatment a tingling sensation.

• What are the after effects?

Tiny dark brown spots/scabs are evident after treatment or there may be an appearance of a burn in areas where skin blasting (removal) has taken place. 

The area will often be warm after the procedure and can be tender for a few days. 

Swelling is common, especially around the delicate eyes. Cool compresses can be applied to help reduce swelling and anti-histamine may also be taken to alleviate swelling. 

• Aftercare Advice

The treated area must be kept clean and dry post procedure.

Make-up is not recommended to be applied until the scabs have fallen off. 

Once the scabs have fallen off naturally (do not pick as can cause scarring) the area treated will be red which is then treated with a broad spectrum sunscreen.
